The paranoia of the Bush administration has reached Nixon proportions with singer Cat Stevens being treated like a terrorist and denied entry into the USA.
When it was discovered that Stevens was flying into the USA, the plane was diverted to Maine so that it was not in the US air high traffic areas.
Passengers were delayed up to six hours because of the delay.Stevens was traveling to the USA with his daughter.
He was refused entry into the USA "for reasons of national security."
